Runnymede Explored: New RHUL App for Magna Carta

Posted on April 14, 2015 by

BW1The new app, Runnymede Explored, was officially launched last week. The app was designed by nineteen Royal Holloway students, ten of whom were from History and nine from the MA in Public History. The app gives visitors the option of seven trails to follow, which explain more about history, geography, arts, politics and nature in the area. The Principal has said, ‘I would like to offer my congratulations to everyone who worked on the app; it’s a great example of how colleagues have collaborated both with students and across disciplines. Together you have contributed to a lasting Magna Carta legacy, the impact of which we hope will inspire future generations to consider the importance of personal liberty and freedom.’
